Dear Shenzie and Heaten,

Where oh where does the time go?!? This week you will be two months old! TWO MONTHS. You are both growing so fast it is unbelievable. The older you get the more I see how very different you are. You may be twins and have the same little piggy noses, but that is where the similarity ends.

Shenzie aka Gizmo,

At your last Dr. visit you were over 8 pounds!!!! I would guess you are closer to 9 at this point. You’ve come a long way from the little scrawny baby you once were.

You are generally very quiet and calm until you get hungry and then you go “Heaten” on me. You only cry when something is wrong - hunger, dirty diaper, or gassy belly. You still sit quietly and stare into space for hours. I wonder what you think about? You are very close to smiling. One of my favorite things to do is sit and watch you as you wake up. You go through an assortment of expressions. You smile, you “O” your mouth, you stick out your tongue, and of course you frown.

You had your first Thanksgiving this past week at Grandma’s house. You were very good and slept for the most part. On Thanksgiving I dressed you in the blue outfit in the picture above. I guess girls can only wear pink these days because your Grandpa and even some of your Aunties thought you were Heaten because you were in blue! Shame on them. Your cousin Alexee asked why you were in Heaten’s clothes. When I told her they were yours and see the flowers she said “Ohhhh, but its blue”. Ha, we sure fooled them!

We love you little girl, more and more everyday!!

Dear Heaten aka Snurgle,

My little man is getting soooo big!!! At the last Dr. visit you were over 9 pounds which means you are probably 10 pounds right now! Ten pounds of gurgling, snorting, spituping, growling cuteness! You are very active (well, as active as a two month old can be). You flop, you flail, you throw your body around all of the time which makes it very hard to burp you. You are giving us a smile every now and again. Today your daddy was playing with your nose and you smiled at him. We both can’t wait for the day you both smile all of the time. I wake you every morning with a cheery goodmorning song hoping for a smile - instead I get the hungry cry which is cute too. =)

We love you little man!

I could sit and cuddle you two all day. I love to kiss your chubby cheeks and I spend wayyyy to much time sniffing you. You both smell good enough to eat. Your dad had the last five days off and it has been heavenly. I got to cuddle you and enjoy all of the time with you that I don’t get when I’m home alone and going crazy. You keep me very busy but I wouldn’t change a thing!

I love you little Clammies.

Love,

Mama
