There is no greater motivation for cleaning all of the cracks and crevices with a toothbrush than company coming to stay in your house. Your dirty house. The house that hasn’t had a really, really good scrubdown since the cleaners left when the babies were 3 months old. The house you will now spend the next 3 days cleaning from top to bottom so you don’t embarrass yourself. Normally I am a CLEAN FREAK. Once upon a time I would spend 2-3 hours every weekend cleaning the house from top to bottom. Nowadays it is more like….oh that room is dirty I’ll have to get to it sometime today. And then the babies get crazy, bottles need made, dinner needs cooked, laundry needs done, and I need to pee so the dirty room gets pushed to the backburner day after day.
Jeff’s twin sister Leah and her hubby David are coming for a visit from Canada this weekend and we are so excited! The only thing that could make it better would be if their two kids Emily and Nicholas could make it. We are in the midst of planning a trip to Canada for next summer so we’ll get to see the kids then. I have not even met Nicholas yet - bad Auntie!
Wish me luck that the dirt bunnies don’t eat me alive!!!!! Today is Day 1 of Spring Fling 2007!!!
And of course for your viewing pleasure the cutest babies in the whole universe - back in the day when they were tiny tots (December 2006).

Thanks for stopping by my site. To tell you the truth we don’t have the sleeping thing down yet, at all. One of them will sleep all night, usually, but for the last two nights, since he has figured he can stand in his bed he wakes in the middle of the night, stands up and yells at his brother, who usually wakes anywhere for one to two times a night, still. All of this is tolerable if they sleep later, but somedays they try to get up at five, which I just cannot do. If they are not crying and are just talking I let they stay in there until they get worked up.
Thanks again for stopping by I will add you to my list of reads and you sure do have some cuties there!

I just found your site through the twinkies. Oh my
goodness are your babies incredibly adorable!
Good luck with the cleaning. I know what used to take
only an hour can now be a day long project, trying to
fit it in between baby activities.

I’m also a mom of twins and haven’t had a clean house in ages. Lately, I’ve had alot of success using Flylady’s methods (www.flylady.net). She’s even got a whole Crisis Cleaning guide. Good luck with the flinging!
