The twins are taking over!
I don’t know if it is because I live in a big city that it is so common, but everywhere I go lately there are twins. Last week at Albertsons 8 month old b/g twins (so cute) in front of me in line. Last week at Walmart b/g 6 year old twins in line behind me. Last week at Target b/g 5 year old twins shopping next to me. This week at Albertsons g/g 1 year old twins in line behind me and the bagger who helped us to the car was a twin.
While we were at Walmart an older lady came over to ooh and ahh over the babies and actually got tears in her eyes. How sweet (and a little weird). She said they were just so cute she couldn’t help it. Now, I think my babies are cute…but I don’t even cry over it.
I hate to say it, but I’ve started avoiding eye contact when we go out. The ‘touchers’ are driving me insane….when did it become ok to touch on someone else’s baby(ies) that you don’t even know? Weirdos. Plus all of the comments…they need to come up with something better than ‘You sure have your hands full huh’. That one is so 1990’s.
From our fake photo shoot a couple of weeks ago. Hawaii stylie. Watch out world, we’re taking over!

Your kiddos are getting cuter all the time, and it barely
seems possible to be any cuter.
I think the current statistic now is that 1/33 births is a
twin, so when you think of it that way, for every 100
babies or kids you see walking around, 6 of them should be
twins (3 sets of twins that is).
I had a woman in the supermarket start crying at “how
beautiful” Sarah is. It made me wonder if she had lost
a baby or a twin or something like that.
The touching drives me crazy, too. I don’t mind so much
when people touch their feet, but how is it okay to touch
a stranger’s baby’s head, or face, or hands? EVEN WHEN
THEY ARE SLEEPING (yes, strangers have woken my babies
before).
Back to work. Thanks for posting, I am bored with myself
and keep checking my bloglines for new posts.

I heart them!!!!!!!!! Forget about touching them, I want to munch their cute little faces!!!
I had a woman fawn all over Mason in the grocery store. I kept trying to walk away, but she was beside herself and kept talking to me, telling me how beautiful he is… It was nice of her, but a bit uncomfortable.

Ohh, yes I hear you on this. Now, when we were in China
I didn’t mind because that’s what they do. After all
it was their babies. WE felt honored that they had
chosen us to raise their babies. BUT, I have had to run
from people while out shopping with the girls. Strange
in a creepy kind of way…….Of course we are a flashing
light stepping out with chinese twins. In China twins are
very rare I guess people know that here in the USA.

Those pictures are fabulous.
I don’t get the touchers. I had a woman once who actually straightened Fiona up in
her stroller. Really. I was so taken aback I didn’t know what to say.
The woman ahead of me in the receiving line at the wedding I went to last weekend
had triplets. Multiples are everywhere.
