The babies have been insane this week. I’m not sure the cause or what I did to deserve such hell, but when one is insane the other must follow, so two crazies…every, single, day! I’ve been trying to get out every day for a walk in the morning before it gets too hot and then an activity in the afternoon. The babies LOVE their wagon and love to go for walks. The other day Heaten was super fussy even in the wagon, which is really unusual. He was wearing shoes for the first time (I know, they are almost a year and just now wearing shoes…bad mommy), anyhow, I thought maybe the shoes were to blame so I took them off and stuck them in the bottom of the wagon. I’m sure you know what comes next….missing shoe. As I was cleaning out the wagon I noticed only one shoe. Ooops. The next day we retraced our steps and sure enough a block up , sitting on the sidewalk, cute as could be was the other shoe. Yay! Today he dropped his sippy, my water bottle, and his hat from the wagon. I learned my lesson and now look back every couple of minutes to see if anything is missing before we get too far and have to backtrack.

Yesterday I got it in my head to do a photo shoot of the babies in their new brown outfits. Brown is my favorite color so you’ll be seeing a lot of it around here. We load up the wagon and head to the park. I put the babies on the grass knowing full well they hate grass…duh. Load them back into the wagon, go home, get a blanket, and head back to the park. Thirty minutes of rolling around in the grass, which I am allergic to and now have a rash all over my legs and arms for nothing. Not one photo turned out. They WOULD NOT cooperate at all. One would look at the camera the other wouldn’t. I have lots of pictures of fingers in mouths, both babies looking the opposite direction, tongues sticking out, and squinty eyes…but not one with both babies happy, smiling at the camera.

Here are a few shots of babies not playing along with mommy..
