Today while watching Jon and Kate Plus 8 she was saying how mothers put off getting the babies first hair cuts…especially for the boys. Somehow with their first haircut they go from being babies to little men. I will be the first to admit that Heaten’s hair is looking a little hippy dippy and getting rather long. I have trimmed his bangs twice, but he has never had a real haircut. I think there may be some truth to her theory…I don’t want my little baby boy to grow up so I’ll keep withholding the haircut until I’m ready (when he’s 10 or so and his hair is longer than mine.) =)

I love his hair!

I think his hair is pretty cute. He doesn’t need a cut, he’s adorable just the way he is.

I was just watching that show yesterday at lunchtime, thinking about how we waited until the last possible moment. Alex had a helmet for 3 months and when the helmet finally came off, it was SO ugly we had to get it cut asap. Now I wait as long as possible and run my fingers through it!
And Heaten’s hair does rock.

You know I love Rock Star Hair!
You’ll know when it’s time, and the difference in his appearance will be huge! But, of course he will still be crazy adorable, just in more of a little boy way.

Please don’t cut that great hair! I think it is just adorable not to mention that we have some serious hair envy going on here. I did Will and Alex’s first cut only because they had one or two lone long hairs…it was barely enough to save for the baby books. Keep that cool kid look going!

Put it in a ponytail and call it a day!
My girls didn’t get their first cut
until they were 17 months old! Their
second cut at 25 months old. Don’t rush it!!

How cute is that hair?
Brian keeps saying things about “We’ll have to cut this hair soon” and I keep going “nooooooooooooooo”.
