Playing outside in the 73 degree weather….AHHHH, sometimes living in Vegas isn’t so bad.

To see all of Heaten and Shenzie’s February photos you can go here.

I was laughing so hard at Shenzie spinning herself dizzy and then falling. She loves to spin and then gets all wonky and tips over or comes running to me like a drunk. That little girl is so funny. The even funnier thing is she knows she is funny and does things just to get a laugh. Her new thing (outside of spinning) is throwing things to make Heaten laugh. He loves it! She will do it over and over again until he gets bored and quits laughing and then she’s over it too. Funny little silly head.

And in even bigger news!!!! ****KNOCK ON WOOD**** I have my good sleeper back. All it took was 3 molars to come through and some antibiotics for poor Heaten and viola’! They sleep!!! Life is good. Very, very good. 70 degree weather, sleeping happy smiling babies, and a well rested mom. The only thing missing is chocolate, brownies, cookies, and ice cream. =)

As if….
Being overly tired
Having an ear infection
Getting bit by sissy, not once, but twice
Having sissy tackle you and knock you down
and being plain miserable wasn’t enough…..

Now we have a GIANT goose egg.

Poor little boy. Life is just really rough lately.

Luckily Shenzie has been doing really well (I’m using the term well VERY loosely)……that is, when she’s not standing on her head having a tantrum.

So fresh and so clean

I tell you, these little people really keep me hopping. Life is certainly NOT dull these days. Oh how I love those little people!!!

A little video of the new bubble machine. My online friend Kristin got this for her boys and let me tell you….super fun!! At first they were scared of it, now they LOVE it. It makes THOUSANDS of bubbles…it’s pretty nifty. For $9.99 it is well worth it.

Ang was right, I totally jinx’d us. Last night = NOT FUN. This morning = NOT FUN.

Heaten just hasn’t been acting himself lately. He ran a low grade fever all weekend and refused to sleep. Refused to eat dinner, breakfast, and even refused milk which is unheard of. This morning I took him to the Dr. to have his ears checked just in case and what do you know?!?! He has an ear infection. Ta da! I hate that he has it, but I’m glad that something was wrong and fixable and that he didn’t just turn into some crazy baby. I already have one of those, I don’t need two!!

Poor little bugger. Hopefully we’ll be back to “normal” soon.

Once again Michele has dazzled me with her knowledge.

After an absolutely HORRIBLE weekend today was so wonderful it was scary. Thank GOD! I needed a break.

Busted!

The babies have really started to “play” with each other. It melts my heart to see them laughing and playing with each other. It does not melt my heart when they are fighting with each other which seems to be about 75% of the time these days. It is freakishly amazing how strong those little people are.

Weight Watchers Week 1 Weight Loss: 4.5 pounds

Observations this week:

* Coffee AND espresso use 4-5 points of my daily alloted 20. You would think this would encourage me to give one of them up. Nope, coffee is non negotiable….even if I am starving all day.

* While on WW I eat much more healthy. I rarely eat enough fruits and veggies normally, now I am forced to eat veggies because they are zero points and I am STARVED.

* Week one is the hardest. Going from snacking and eating everything and anything to eating enough food to feed a mouse is a BIG adjustment.

*Losing 4+ pounds in one week is total encouragement to stay away from the donuts!!

Did anybody see the eclipse last night? It was pretty amazing. I’ve never seen one so this was my first…I was an Eclipse Virgin, but no more!!! I tried to get some photographs, but I didn’t have a long enough zoom. I loaned my longest lens to my dad so I used my 100mm Macro with a tripod. It was super cold, rainy, cloudy, and I had a crying baby so I didn’t get the best pictures.

This was the beginning of the partial eclipse at 6:20 Pacific Time

About 6:40 1/2 way thru the partial eclipse

The full eclipse (the wind must have made the tripod move because its a little blurry)
