Did anybody see the eclipse last night? It was pretty amazing. I’ve never seen one so this was my first…I was an Eclipse Virgin, but no more!!! I tried to get some photographs, but I didn’t have a long enough zoom. I loaned my longest lens to my dad so I used my 100mm Macro with a tripod. It was super cold, rainy, cloudy, and I had a crying baby so I didn’t get the best pictures.
This was the beginning of the partial eclipse at 6:20 Pacific Time

Yep, I saw it. Wasn’t it so exciting? I know, I’m a nerd. I’ve been getting
into all this Astromony stuff since I have an Astornomy class and a lab this
semester. I got a couple of pictures and Dave set up his video camera and got
some good video. Pretty neat.
