I am pretty crazy about what the babies eat. I figure, while I can control what they eat I will. I’m sure in the future it will be a little more challenging, but for now I am VERY strict with their diet. When they were babies I home made all of their food. Now they are little organic, soy eating toddlers. For the most part they eat organic everything. I am very opposed to them getting hormones and pesticides as well as Red Dye #40 and High Fructose Corn Syrup. My Dad thinks I am crazy and am abusing my kids because I don’t feed them chocolate and candy. My Mom thinks I am a food snob because I won’t let them eat canned crap er…. I mean ravioli and such. At every meal they get a protein, fruit and/or veggie, healthy carb, and calcium. 90% of their meat isn’t really meat at all but soy products. The only real meat they eat is organic, natural chicken breast which they love, the rest are vegan products. After reading this and this on Janae’s site I am really freaked out!

I’m sure my entire family thinks I am crazy when it comes to the babies food…it won’t be the first time. =) I am a firm believer that all of the crap we put in our bodies is the cause of all of the crap that happens to our bodies. A girlfriend of mine has a 10 year old daughter that just started her period. TEN YEARS OLD! And her Pediatrician said that she was one of the older ones….nine years old is the new norm!!!!! Are you kidding me. It used to be 14 and 15, then it was 12 or 13, now it is 9!?!? This is a great article regarding earlier development in young girls. They have no conclusive proof that it is all of the hormones or chemicals, although there is speculation. Me, I’m going to play it safe and keep that crap away from my babies….I’ll check back in another 12 years or so and let you know if it worked!!
