I forgot to add your 18 month stats to your letter.
Shenzie
Height ¤ 29 Inches ¤ 5th Percentile
Weight ¤ 22.10 Pounds ¤ 25th Percentile
Head ¤ 50th Percentile
From 15 Months
Height Growth ¤ 0 Inches
Weight Gain ¤ 1 Pound
Heaten
Height ¤ 30.5 Inches ¤ 10th Percentile
Weight ¤ 24.3 Pounds ¤ 30th Percentile
Head ¤ 95th Percentile (GIANT Melon Boy)
From 15 Months
Height Growth ¤ 0 Inches
Weight Gain ¤ 1.1 Pounds
So overall not much growth in three months. I hope that is normal…the doctor didn’t seem concerned, he just says you’re both on the smaller side right now which is fine by me since pulling, lifting, and carrying 50+ pounds daily is more than enough!!

I think it’s totally normal. If I remember, average weight gain in second year is
like 3 to 5 pounds, and average height gain is like 3 to 6 inches. But it doesn’t
seem to come evenly across the year, it seems to come in fits and spurts. Plus,
the height measurements at this age seem to be really unreliable. I think S. shrank
one month.
Also, I think the slow down between 1st and 2nd year is more dramatic in low birth
weight kids like ours, because they had so much catching up to do in the first year.
So, I wouldn’t worry about it!

It’s 8:59am, where is your Foto Friday post? You’re slackin’.
As you know, M had her 9 month well check yesterday and yes, she is
taller than Shenzie, by a half an inch!
BTW-love the 18 month letter..so sweet.

Totally normal. Alex and Will did not grow much from their 15 month check. I think I read somewhere it is because they become so much more active, thereby burning more calories? Anyway, I hear you on lugging the heavy packages! Whew…it is a workout isn’t it?? By the way, I loved all the picture from the 18 month post. So adorable as usual.
