We are experiencing some major sickness in Barrville. This is quite possibly the sickest Shenzie has ever been. Jeff was on his death bed a week in a half ago. I find it hard to believe the sickies stuck around here that long, but maybe? Either way this is one GROSS sicky. Between the throwing up, the constant diaper changes and her poor little red bum I feel so sorry for her. I am PRAYING Heaten and I don’t get it, but I think our chances are slim to none. Boooo!

Yesterday both Shenzie and Heaten finally said I love you (not unprompted, but it still counts right?). Coincidence? I think not. She knew she had to lay on the charm for what was coming. Just like the good old days, up to my elbows in throwup and crap. Oh how very glamorous motherhood can be!!

Still my little fashionista, even when sick.

I’m so sorry. It is no fun taking care of sickos. And I also really get anxious
waiting for the other kid, and/or me to get sick too that I work myself up so
much. I hope you all feel healthy soon.

Oh man, Lesley, I’m so sorry. I can help with the red bum. Put a half of a small box of baking soda in the bath. It’s soothing and wikk totally help. Do it for a few days in a row.
She is so cute and sad in the picture!

She is awfully cute even when sick!
I’m up to my elbows in crap and fire butts too. It must be a stomach bug because ‘rhea is in full force. What’s strange about this round of stomach bug though is that they are both eating like little pigs. Usually they stop eating when sick, but it’s just the opposite. Hell, they had THREE dinners last night and woke up starving this morning!
I hope your little miss feels better soon. I love that hat!

I have yet to get my boys to say love you umprompted, and they will only say it prompted every once in awhile. Sorry you have the sickies in your house. Here’s hoping you and Heaten don’t get it.
