My Heart Melts Edition:
Shenzie had been waiting and waiting for her tutu shoot. We finally made it happen, and oh my heavens, I’m in love! We had such a fun time and the photos are just beautiful. Exactly what I had in my mind when we went out.
This is quite possibly my most favorite photo I’ve ever taken. I’m not sure why I love it so much, but it melts my heart to pieces. Normally Shenzie is such an energetic, fun, loud, silly, smiley character. I think I love it so much because it captured such a different, soft side of her. I’m planning on ordering a 20×24 canvas of this for her room. Stay tuned for the rest of our fun tutu shoot.
And as a side note if you’re wondering why you never see photos of Heaten Bear…well, lets just say he doesn’t like the camera….like, at all. But don’t worry, I have a super fun choo choo session planned for him. His very favorite thing in the world are trains, if those don’t get cooperation, then I don’t know what will!

I think this photo is beautiful. I love the sun shining off her hair. And her all mixed in with the wild flowers. Very very cool.

Its a different look for her, no doubt about that. What strikes me about it is that she looks so much older than she is - or perhaps I can see a glimpse of the beautiful woman she will become.
In any case, I adore her!
